Blackview A80 Pro shows up in unboxing and benchmark video

The new Blackview A80 Pro is going to go on open global sales on November 29th for just $79.99  and that probably makes it the best VFM smartphone out there as it comes with a quad-camera setup featuring a Sony® 13MP quad-camera. Quite nicely, Blackview released an unboxing and hands-on video of the device so that you can see it in action before its official release. What’s even more impressive is that -besides the charger- you also get a pair of earphones, a case, and a screen protector in the box! Let’s check out the video.

Features of Blackview A80 Pro

As you can see, the A80 Pro scores 99.720 points on the AnTuTu benchmark v8.1.4 and that’s an excellent score for a less-than-$80 smartphone. But besides the benchmark score, real-life performance like gaming seems smooth and fluid. The Blackview A80 Pro runs on Android 9 Pie and is powered by the MediaTeK Helio P25 Octa-Core SoC backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

What makes it stand out among other budget phones is its Sony® IMX258 13MP quad rear camera. Also, it sports a 4680mAh big battery despite its 8.8mm slim body. That battery should last more than a day on a single charge. In terms of cellular coverage, it supports global LTE network bands, which makes it suitable for travelers or businessmen.

In addition, there is a 6.49″ in-cell display and the front panel reaches 90.3% screen/body ratio. It comes with HD+ resolution which is good for the market segment and price and colors are vivid. Speaking about colors, the A80 Pro comes in 4 color variations: Gradient Blue, Emerald Green, Interstellar Black, and Coral Red.

Lastly, it is equipped with a USB Type-C port which is rare to find in the category as well as an LED notification light and 3.5mm audio jack. Definitely a very decent device in its price range.
