Tesla Model S Beats Porsche Electric Car At The Nurburgring Track

The German auto magazine “Auto Motor und Sport” reported that Tesla equip the Plaid power system and the three-motor Tesla Model S prototype to break the German Nürburgring. Porsche pre-produced the fastest record of the lap created by the pure electric car Taycan.

Of particular note is that the Model S beat Taycan with absolute advantage, nearly 20 seconds faster than the latter. According to Auto Motor und Sport, the Model S took 7 minutes and 23 seconds to run the lap track. While Taycan used 7 minutes and 42 seconds. This result shows that Tesla is still developing its automotive technology, especially its flagship sedan.

It should be noted that the Tesla Model S with the Plaid powertrain on the Nürburgring track is about a year away from production. However, Porsche Taycan is also a pre-production model. The latter did not even disclose specifications and configuration, only said its power exceeds 600 horsepower.
