On the eve of CES2020, Samsung launched the Galaxy Book Flex Alpha(pronounced Alpha) laptop. This is a new variant of GalaxyBookFlex. The laptop offers durable batteries, QLED displays. Moreover, it comes with beautiful design features at competitive prices. The company said in an official press release that the new device combines “the productivity and premium experience of a laptop with the mobility and flexibility of a smartphone.”

The price and other features of Galaxy Book Flex Alpha
It is clear that the GalaxyBookFlexα uses a 2-in-1 design. The latter sports a rotatable 13.3-inch 1080pQLED display with a maximum brightness of 600 nits. The weight of the laptop is 1.19 kg and measures 13.9mm in thickness. It features the 10th generation Intel Core processor. At the moment, it unclear whether the device features Core i3 or i5 processor. It couples with Intel UHD graphics.However, it is unclear whether it is an IceLake chip or CometLake chip. It has 8GB or 12GB LPDD4 RAM options and 256GB or 512GB storage options. The device also supports up to 1TB of SSD (NVMe). In addition, the device also has fingerprint recognition and unlocking. Not only that, the device is powered by a 54Wh battery, which Samsung claims can deliver 17.5 hours of battery life. The interface also includes USB-C, 2 USB3.0, HDMI and MicroSD.
However, the cheaper price means that the GalaxyBookFlexα also lacks some of the core features of its predecessor. It meant that it does not have a wireless charging pad and a SPen stylus. The Samsung Galaxy Book Flex Alpha comes with a price label of $829.99. The new Samsung laptop will be released in the market in the first half of 2020. The brand will also be selling an Active Pen stylus for the device. However, the user will have to buy that one separately.
