Google Android 10 Adds Dual Card Dual Standby To Pixel 3

According to foreign media 9to5Google reported that Google officially pushed the Android 10 system update to Pixel 3 and Pixel 3a X. Both the smartphones now brings dual card dual standby function.

Previously, the dual card dual standby feature was briefly available on the Android 10 beta Pixel 3. However, Google eventually cancelled this feature.

Users of Pixel 3 and Pixel 3a XL can implement dual card dual standby with a physical card and an eSIM. Users can only use one cellular mobile network, but can choose a different provider when making a call or texting. When using the dual card dual standby feature, the Android status bar will display two network signal IDs.

Google said that Android 10 has limited dual-card dual-standby capabilities supported by Pixel3a and Pixel 3a XL. Users can only use eSIM functions from some carriers.
