On July 26, Huawei held a media communication meeting with the theme of ‘Connecting the Future’ at the Shenzhen Headquarters. At the event, the company announced a few smartphones, talked about its success, and also introduced the first Huawei Smart Screen. As you guess, this is the much-talked Huawei TV. But the manufacturer claims it’s not a regular TV. Instead, it says this is the future of TV.
First of all, the screen size of the Huawei Smart Screen is much larger than the Huawei P30 Pro shown in the photo. Thus, it is consistent with the 55-inch news previously exposed.
Second, the smart screen adopts a super-narrow bezel full-screen design. And the border is finer than the Huawei P30 Pro frame. This also shows Huawei’s powerful industrial design intelligence.
Once again, the top of the smart screen will be equipped with the lifting camera, which also confirms the speech of Honor president at the Global Mobile Internet Conference today.
Moreover, the Huawei Smart Screen on the PPT seems to be making a video call through the phone. So it can be interconnected with the smartphone. This also means that Huawei has opened up the boundaries between smartphones and TVs. Also, it has successfully connected the smartphones with the smart screens.
At the meeting, Huawei revealed that this product will be unveiled in September 2019, slightly later than the Honor Smart Screen.
Updated: After the meeting, Yu Chengdong said in an interview: ‘The Huawei’s Smart Screen will have three sizes of 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch.’
