There is a new trend – the traditional smartphone makers are becoming TV industry representatives. Xiaomi has already succeeded in this field; Huawei and Honor have already launched a new category of smart screen products; OPPO is said to launch its own TV soon; OnePlus will release its TV in the nearest future. By the way, there have been too many discussions and comments on what name the latter will choose for its TV. Today, Pete Lau, the company’s official representative revealed the name of its upcoming TV. It will be named the OnePlus TV. He confirmed the name on the OnePlus Forum and stated that ‘except for the name of their own brand, we believe that no other name can best represent our value, vision and pride.’

At the same time, OnePlus announced the logo of the OnePlus TV. Its founder and CEO Liu Zuohu published it on his Twitter account. It is a logo with a ‘TV’ next to the company’s logo. The design of the logo is ‘inspired by classical geometric progressions, which can be seen in many classic art forms, such as ancient Hindu symbols, mandala and famous ancient Greek temples.’

Prior to this, OnePlus announced plans to enter the TV market last September. But it has not revealed much information. However, recent submissions to the Bluetooth Technology Alliance show that the OnePlus TV will run the Android system and use LED panels ranging in size from 43 to 75 inches. This is in line with the rumors that the TV will be available at the end of September.
