Xiaomi, which had the largest shipment volume in China last year, is currently mainly equipped with traditional LCDs and quantum dots. However, it turns out Xiaomi soon plans to release high-end TVs equipped with OLED panels. The first product uses a 65-inch screen. Unfortunately, other technical details are unclear.

In fact, not long ago, Li Xiaoshuang, general manager of Xiaomi’s Home Appliances Department, announced a new L65M5-OD Xiaomi TV, which was first certified by Dolby Vision. At that time, many users guessed that OD is the abbreviation of OLED.

By the way, recently, the company has announced that Xiaomi TV shipments and sales in 2019 ranked first in China. At the same time, it disclosed the overall shipment volume, which reached 10.46 million units. This is for the first time when a single brand ships over 10 million units in a year. Aowei Cloud Network data shows that Xiaomi TV has the largest sales volume in the five large-size segments. They include 32 inches, 43 inches, 50 inches, 65 inches, and 70 inches. Among them, 70-inch online sales accounted for 41%, and 65-inch online sales accounted for 33%.
