This afternoon, Xiaomi TV announced on its official Weibo channel that Xiaomi TV shipments and sales in 2019 ranked first in China. At the same time, it disclosed the overall shipment volume, which reached 10.46 million units. This is for the first time when a single brand ships over 10 million units in a year.
Xiaomi TV stated that the data has been confirmed by AVC and Zhongyikang. According to data from Zhongyikang, Xiaomi TV’s annual sales share was 19.25%. Aowei Cloud Network data shows that Xiaomi TV has the largest sales volume in the five large-size segments of 32 inches, 43 inches, 50 inches, 65 inches and 70 inches. Among them, 70-inch online sales accounted for 41%, and 65-inch online sales accounted for 33%.
According to Li Xiaoshuang, general manager of the Xiaomi TV Department, over the first three quarters of 2019 (Q1 – Q3 2019), Mi TV has shipped about 2.3 million units per quarter. This shows that the last quarter (Q4) has a similar or better sales volume.
Li Xiaoshuang also said that each generation of Xiaomi’s TV is of high quality. In addition, each generation comes with a cool feature.
