Today, AMD officially launched the AMD R5 3550U series mobile APU, including Ryzen 5 3500U and Ryzen 7 3700U. Now, the R5 3550U runs on the Internet, it seems that there is only one more Vega core than the Ryzen 5 3500U.
AMD R5 3550U is a quad-core eight-thread, clocked at 2.1GHz. The highest frequency is 3.69GHz, 4MB L3 cache, CPU parameters are consistent with Ryzen 5 3500U.
In terms of nuclear display, the Ryzen 5 3550U is equipped with 9 sets of Vega cores. Which is one more than the Ryzen 5 3500U.
Overall, the Ryzen 5 3550U does not have a large upgrade. To compete with Intel’s 10nm Core processor, AMD has to come up with a 7nm Zen 2 mobile CPU.
