2019 is the first year of 5G. The absence of 5G support in the iPhone 11 series makes the world look forward to the iPhone 2020 models. The rumors in the industry say that this year is the most powerful year in iPhone history. Apple not only has the record number of five models reached but also four of them support 5G.
Recently, in the latest report, Guofeng Ming, an analyst at Tianfeng International, confirmed the release of five new iPhones this year. Mingming Guo said that among Hon Hai Group, Fu Zhi Kang Group is responsible for new product development. Hon Hai is responsible for assembly and shipment. Fu Zhi Kang Group’s new iPhone NRE will benefit from the increase in new models and changes in the release cycle.
The report points out that the five new iPhones this year include. We will have 4.7-inch LCD models (iPhone 9 or iPhone SE2) in the first half. The next smartphones are 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch OLED rear dual-camera models (iPhone 12 series). And finally, it will produce a 6.1-inch and a 6.7-inch OLED rear three-camera model (iPhone 12 Pro series). Except for 4.7-inch LCD models that do not support 5G, the other four models will support 5G.

Guo Mingxuan pointed out in the iPhone 12 series shipments will reach 80-85 million units this year. As a comparison, the iPhone 11 series shipped 75 million units in 2019. The 5G iPhone will be divided into the iPhone 12 series ($699-$799) and the iPhone 12 Pro series ($999-$1099). Probably all the models will come with A14 processors, in September 2020.
In terms of appearance design, the design of the iPhone 12 Pro series is updated, and the fringe is smaller. The iPhone 12 will continue the current appearance of the iPhone 11 series and increase to dual cameras.
