Redmi First AMD Notebook Released on October 21

At the end of the Redmi 8 conference, Lu Weibing announce the Xiaomi Redmi’s first AMD notebook was released on October 21.

Currently, the enhanced version of RedmiBook is powered by the Intel Core 10 processor. Which is much more expensive than AMD’s R5/R7 mobile processor. The AMD version of RedmiBook is expected to be powered by the R5 3500U processor. The price will be at least $300 less than the Intel version. Due to the enhanced GPU performance of the Acer APU in dual channel memory, the new RedmiBook is also expected to be equipped with dual 8GB of memory.

Now, Lenovo Xiaoxin, Glory MagicBook and other brands are equipped with AMD processors. The price is also very low, RedmiBook AMD pricing pressure will be very large.
