Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 To Be The First Tablet With Off-Screen Fingerprints

Yesterday, the first images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 leaked on the net. Today, we got more details about this tablet. As 91mobiles claims, the Galaxy Tab S6 will become the world’s first tablet with off-screen fingerprints.

The tablet was originally expected to be called the Galaxy Tab S5. But it’s said Samsung has used the Galaxy Tab S6 name for some reason. It is unclear whether Samsung plans to use optical screen fingerprints in this tablet, or the fingerprints on the ultrasound screen used in the Galaxy S10 series. But we tend to think it will use the latter.

The tablet will feature a Super AMOLED display and will be powered by Qualcomm’s most powerful Snapdragon 855 processor. It’s worth noting that the Galaxy Tab S4 launched last year used the Snapdragon 835 instead of the flagship processor Snapdragon 845.

The image spotted yesterday showed that the back of the device will contain two cameras. Now the new source reports the dual-camera will consist of 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. The 5-megapixel camera uses a super wide-angle sensor. Plus, there is an 8MP CMOS on the front.

Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is rumored to come with 128GB and 256GB storage options, supporting up to 512GB microSD card expansion. The RAM information was not leaked, but the source guessed it will be at least 6GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is said to provide up to 15 hours of use on a single charge, and it supports fast charging. It also carries AKG-tuned speakers. The device will also offer optional keyboard accessories, will support Samsung DeX, the new S Pen stylus, and so on.
