MediaTek female engineer who was pronounced murderd, now murderer sentenced to life imprisonment

According to the news reports, in 2016, MediaTek female engineer Cui Yajie was murder by Singaporean boyfriend Qiu Guifu. Now, the case was formally pronounce that Qiu Guifu was sentence to life imprisonment.

According to reports, the case was opened in March this year. 11 days of trials were held before and after. The judges of the Singapore High Court now made the judgment on the 19th. The judge believes that the sentence will only be impose if the offender shows malicious or blatant disregard of human life. The death penalty, but in this case Qiu Guifu did not premeditated to kill Cui Yajie. In the end, Qiu Guifu was sentence to life imprisonment. He also escaped the whipping because he was over 50 years old.

The Singapore Morning Post reports that Qiu Guifu killed her because the deceased wanted to tell his boss about his financial situation. He wanted to stop her from carrying her to a quiet place to talk to her and try to calm her down.

According to previous reports, Cui Yajie graduated from the University of Southampton in the UK. And worked as an engineer at MediaTek Semiconductor in Singapore. She disappeared at about 9:00 on the evening of July 11, 2016. It was confirm MediaTek female engineer killed by Qiu Guifu the next day.
