Previously, XDA developers found in the MIUI camera code that the Redmi K30 Pro will be launched under the Xiaomi POCO brand in India. Many analysts speculate that the Redmi K30 Pro may be POCO F2.
On April 1, according to mysmartprice report, C Manmohan, general manager of Xiaomi POCO brand India, revealed at an online fan meeting that Redmi K30 Pro is not Xiaomi POCO F2. Thus, it is actually a brand new smartphone.

C Manmohan also revealed that the Mi fane with a budget of only INR 20,000 ($262) can be considered for POCO X2, suggesting that the price of POCO F2 exceeds INR 20,000.
The previous generation POCO F1 was released in 2018, which was the most cost-effective Snapdragon 845 model at that time, priced at only INR 20,999 (about RMB 2000).
In fact, entering 2020, it is no longer possible for Xiaomi POCO F2 to maintain the price of INR 20,000 due to rising costs.
In terms of specifications, the POCO F2 is expected to be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 flagship platform. Plus, it should come with an LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.0 flash memory. Of course, this handset should support fast charging.
Although the price will rise, the POCO F2 will still be a very cost-effective smartphone, which is worth looking forward to.
It is worth noting that the Redmi K30 Pro may still be launched under the POCO brand. But the specific model is not yet known. There is a speculation that the POCO X2 Pro may correspond to the National Bank version of the Redmi K30 Pro.
