The Redmi 10X series is known for its great performance and a low price tag. In this sense, the Pro variant is more attractive as it comes with a better configuration. But sometimes, people don’t like the color variants the smartphones are available in. So the manufacturers have to bring new versions. The same happened with the Redmi 10X Pro. Following the schedule, today, the company announced so-called liquid silver color option. The 8GB+256GB version is priced at 2,599 yuan, which is about $372.

This morning, Lu Weibing, vice president of Xiaomi Group, president of China region, and general manager of Redmi brand, said through Weibo that there are too less silver-colored smartphones on the market. It’s mainly related to the complicated diaphragm manufacturing process and the low bonding yield with glass. As a result, the silver-colored phones have a higher cost than the rest.

However, the newly launched liquid silver version of the Redmi 10X Pro is indeed very technological and futuristic.
