On February 24, Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group China and General Manager of the Redmi brand announced that the Redmi K20 Pro was officially delisted.
Some users have found that after the Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition was delisted, this flagship appeared a premium on JD.com’s third-party platform.
The K20 Pro Premium Edition is the flagship model launched by Redmi in the second half of 2019.
Compared with the K20 Pro, the K20 Pro exclusive version is upgraded to the Snapdragon 855 Plus, with a maximum of 12GB memory + 512GB storage. Thus, it’s Redmi’s first smartphone with such a large memory combination so far.
In addition to the Snapdragon 855 Plus, 12GB of memory, and 512GB of storage, the Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition also adds a new color option – the cool black mech. Also, it comes standard with a 27W fast charge (Redmi K20 Pro 27W fast charging head needs to be purchased separately).
The delisting of the K20 Pro means that the K30 Pro is about to debut. But on the other hand, we have heard it will appear on the market not sooner than April. Lu Weibing hinted that the machine will be released as soon as March, equipped with the Snapdragon 865 flagship platform.

If believing in the previously leaked information, the Redmi K30 Pro will come with an OLED full screen. The lifting camera will use the Sony IMX686 CMOS. By the way, earlier, the Sony IMX686 sensor has been carried by the Redmi K30, which supports four-in-one 1.6μm large pixels and has a 1/1.7-inch outsole. And it will support SA/NSA dual-mode 5G. The tested version has had a RAM of 8GB. Of course, flagship configurations such as WiFi 6, NFC, and horizontal linear motors may appear on the K30 Pro.
