The rear design of the Xiaomi Redmi K30 smartphone looks like a “coin machine” according to many users’ statements. As a reminder, this device sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor and a 4500mAh battery. Today, Lu Weibing, vice president of Xiaomi Group and general manager of the Redmi brand also announced that there are some similarities between the Redmi K30 and the “coin machine” design.
Lu Weibing tells that at first many subscribers considered the smartphone a “coin machine” because of its look. But actually, none of the designers had thought about this. Then it was put in operation. Thus, the negative comment about this device results in a new creative product. Some netizens claim that the “coin machine” is a great design that reminds them of their childhood.

The previous version of the Xiaomi Redmi K30 had a design with the back of fuselage in detail. After the revelation of core design, the designers made a series of changes in color, material, and shape. It goes without saying that the most impressive and eye-catching change was a “coin machine” design.

The Xiaomi Redmi K30 is available in four colors: white, blue, red and purple. The back of the smartphone is made out of glass with four cameras placed vertically along the spine. You can see the cameras on the “coin machine” place. The cameras sport a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor, 2-megapixel portrait camera, and 5-megapixel macro camera. On the front, the Xiaomi Redmi K30 has a 20-megapixel and 2-megapixel selfie camera.
The price of the “coin machine” designed smartphone hesitates from 1599 yuan to 2199 yuan which equals $224-$308, depending on different characteristics.
