Following the release of the white version yesterday, today, Redmi officially introduced the purple version of the Redmi K30 Pro. But this is not the hottest news for today.
This morning, Redmi officially announced that the Redmi K30 Pro uses the ultimate full-screen design. The official poster also shows that the phone will sport a lifting front camera. After this announcement, Redmi brand general manager Lu Weibing also revealed more details: for example, the new Redmi K30 Pro also retains the design of the breathing light.
Lu Weibing said that because the pop-up + breathing light design of the Redmi K20 series was loved by users. This year’s Redmi K30 Pro still continues to use this design. At the same time, the breathing light on the K30 Pro can display different color lighting effects in different notification scenarios. Say, when charging, it will show blue light effect, for incoming call, green light effect, and so on. Due to the X55 5G baseband, it will be able to operate in SA and NSA dual-mode 5G networks.
The Redmi K30 Pro comes standard with a 60Hz Samsung AMOLED screen. Under the hood, it carries a Snapdragon 865 + LPDDR5 + UFS 3.1 solution, a VC heat sink with 3435mm² area and a linear motor. And it will support 3x lossless zoom / HDR10+ screen display.
The Redmi K30 Pro will be officially unveiled on March 24.
By the way, there will be two version – standard and zoom. The Redmi K30 Pro zoom version is expected to support OIS dual image stabilization. The main camera uses a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 CMOS.
