Finally, we have the Successors of the great Redmi Note 7 series. The new Redmi Note 8 and the Redmi Note 8 pro are finally here. The first phone to announce now is the Redmi Note 8 Pro. The phone comes with the 64MP Camera.
Redmi Note 8:
The Redmi Note 8 is also launched alongside with the Redmi Note 8 Pro. The phone runs on the processor of Snapdragon 665 Chipset. The chipset is based on 11nm process. The SoC arrives with the eight Kryo 260 cores. Four Kryo are clocked at 2.2 GHz, and other four are clocked at 1.8 GHz.
The best thing that everyone in the industry is waiting is the camera of the phone. The setup of the four cameras comes with the 48 MP. The lens of this camera is Samsung ISOCELL GM2 sensor. Other cameras are 8 MP ultra-wide and the 2 MP dedicated macro camera along with the 2 MP depth sensor. For the selfie’s the camera of 13 MP will give a great view on front.
The Redmi Note 8 comes with the 6.3” LCD screen along with the full HD+ resolution. On the front you also get the fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone. And at last the battery of the phone comes with the 4,000 mAh battery and this can be charged with 18W charger.
Other specs include 4,000 mAh battery with 18W charging speeds and USB-C port, flanked by a 3.5 mm audio jack. The phone will sell in Black, White, Dream Blue, and will start from CNY999 ($140/€125) for the 4/64 GB option. There are two more choices, though – 6/64 GB for CNY1,199 ($167/€150) and 6/128 GB for CNY1,399 ($195/€175).
Redmi Note 8 Pro:
The Note 8 Pro is now officially the first phone with the 64MP camera. The camera lens is Samsung ISOCELL bright GW1 sensor.
The screen of the new Note 8 pro is 6.53” in diagonal with a LCD panel and Full HD+ resolution. To differentiate the both phones, you will find the Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with the four-camera setup in the middle at back. The 64 MP camera at the back is the first official setup with the 8 MP ultra wide sensor. The 2 MP depth and 2 MP macro combo sensors also join this setup at the back of the phone.
For selfies, the redmi Note 8 Pro will provide you the 20MP camera with more clear images.
At last the battery of this phone is 4,500 mAh and is able to charge with the 18W charger.
Announced in Black, Green, and White, this phone will arrive in September. The price is starting from CNY1,399 ($195/€175) for the 6/64 GB option and goes as high as CNY1,799 ($250/€225) for the 8/128 GB variant.
