Samsung plans to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor in most markets for the Galaxy S11 smartphone. Until now, the Snapdragon variants of flagship the Galaxy smartphones are limited to the U.S., China, and Japan. The Samsung Galaxy S11 series will be officially released in the first quarter of next year.
Korean media Elec said that all markets except the European market will switch to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor next year. Nevertheless, the Korean market will use the Snapdragon 865. Regarding the reason, Elec said that it has a connection to the performance of the two phone platforms.
Samsung will reportedly sell the Spandragon 865 of the Galaxy S11 smartphone in most markets. The Exynos 990 variant, on the other hand, could be offered only in Europe. If Samsung will the Snapdragon 865 variant in countries like India, where 5G networks haven’t been rolled out yet.
