All Redmi K40 Phones Will Sport Outstanding Display

Today, Lu Weibing, general manager of the Redmi brand, officially announced that the Redmi K40 series flagship will come on February 25.

According to previous news, the Redmi K40 series will launch at least two models. At the moment, we know about the standard and Pro variants.

Some users showed the suspected Redmi K40 standard version parameter page screenshot on Weibo, leaking the specific configuration information of the machine. According to the screenshot, the Redmi K40 will come with a 6.81-inch display on the front with a resolution of 3200*1440. In other words, this is a 2K screen.

It is worth noting that the previously released Xiaomi Mi 11 also comes with a 6.81-inch display with a resolution of 3200*1440. It is speculated that the Redmi K40 may use the same display panel as the Mi 11, but the screen shape is changed to a center hole.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 display uses Samsung’s latest E4 luminescent material. It has received a DisplayMate A+ rating and refreshed 13 records, including the highest screen resolution, highest OLED peak brightness, highest color accuracy, highest contrast, and lowest Screen reflectivity, etc.

Hardware and Camera

In terms of core configuration, the screenshot information shows that the Redmi K40 will come with Qualcomm’s newly released Snapdragon 870 chip. This is a flagship chip based on Snapdragon 865 Plus. The highest clock speed is 3.2GHz, and the running score is close to the flagship Snapdragon 888.

Also, the Redmi K40 will have at least 6GB of memory, a built-in 4500mAh high-capacity battery, etc. According to TENAA, it supports 33W fast charging. Thus, the package will be equipped with a standard 33W fast charging head.
