Asus Rog Phone 2 Features

Till the date, we know too less about the ASUS Rog Phone 2. Apart from the Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, we have heard it will be packed with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. In addition, this handset cooperates with Tencent to make the game content more suitable for gaming smartphones. 3C certification shows that the machine also supports 30W fast charge.

It turns out the 120Hz display will be another selling point of the ASUS Rog Phone 2. Moreover, it’s going to be the third device to ship with the whooping refresh rate. The other two are the Razer Phone and Razer Phone 2 unveiled in 2017 and 2018, respectively.

Thanks to Tencent Games, Asus’s next gaming smartphone will ship with exclusive gaming software optimization from the Chinese company. This will allow users to get a more immersive and smooth experience with the high-end Android games.

The first-gen model didn’t have a 120Hz screen refresh rate but it sports a 90Hz and that is backed by 1ms pixel response time making for a blur-free smooth visual experience. The 6-inch Full-HD+ panel also offers HDR support and 108.6% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. The 4,000mAh battery supports HyperCharge with up to 20W charging speed. Finally, under the hood, it carries a Snapdragon 845 chip. So the improvements are obvious.
