Recently, the Chinese smartphone and laptop manufacturer Asus has announced its smartphone ROG Phone 2 in China. Now, we have price factors for the same phone as the company reveals it simultaneously.
The Asus ROG Phone 2 will come in two versions – A Customized Tencent Version and a Vanilla Version. Both come with quite a big difference in price.
Asus ROG Phone 2 – Price and Sale Point
The Tencent version is quite an affordable and customizable edition. It holds a less price tag as compared to the 2nd edition. The Tencent version will start from just CNY3,500 ($510). But users will get 128 GB of storage space and 8 GB of RAM in it.

On the other hand, the Asus ROG Phone 2 Vanilla maxed-out edition features a 12 GB of RAM alongside 128 GB of internal storage space with a price tag of CNY6,000 ($870).
Further, the company has facilitated the users to place pre-orders for the smartphone on JD.Com. It will start shipping the units on July 31. Notably, we have no idea about the extent of the Tencent customizations. But we can guess Honor’s content will get heavy marketing to make up the price differences.
Hence, users will have to wait until July 31 to get the product in hand. They can still pre-order the device if they agree with the given specifications.
The Vanilla Model of Asus ROG 2 will consist of 12 GB RAM as well as 128 GB internal storage to cost at CNY6.000 ($870). You can see this huge 70% premium. We expected the ROG Phone 2 is less than the Zenfone 6 in pricing.
Additionally, we will witness some special editions alongside like the Zhizun for CNY8,000 as well as the Esports Armor edition pricing at CNY 13,000 ($1,890).
