This afternoon, one of the most popular smartphone brands that emerged recently officially released the Black Shark 2 Pro. It is equipped with the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. The starting price is 2,999 yuan ($436).
The Black Shark 2 Pro is inspired by the F1 car. It uses the ‘X’ design language to outline the flow of the curve and to show the penetration and breakthrough the speed. The back of the fuselage adds a symmetrical ‘shark’ cooling system with the lighting effect. The phone is designed to create immersive gaming for players. It comes in five colors of black, ice, ash, blast, orange and streamer.
The Black Shark Gaming Phone 2 Pro uses 6.39-inch 2340*1080 Samsung AMOLED screen. The screen parameters are quite outstanding. Among them, we can mention DCI-P3 color gamut, 430nit maximum brightness, DC dimming 2.0 support, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and an improved touch response speed. IN comparison to the previous generation, it was increased from 34.7ms to 43.5ms.
As for the performance, the Black Shark 2 Pro is equipped with the Qualcomm flagship Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. CPU’s maximum clock frequency is 2.96GHz. The GPU achieves 15% performance improvement. It supports the latest Elite Gaming platform. Due to these enhancements, the processor can reach to 500,610 points at AnTuTu.
The rest of the features include a 20MP front camera, a 48MP +12MP dual-camera, a built-in 4000mAh battery, supporting 27W fast charge, a weight of 205g, and UFS 3.0 storage.
In terms of price, the Black Shark Gaming Phone 2 Pro 12G+128GB version is priced at 2,999 yuan ($436), and the 12G+256GB version is priced at 3,499 yuan ($508). It will be on sale at 10:00 on August 2.
