Back in March 2019, Black Shark 2 was released to be one of the best gaming smartphones till date. Now, the company has hit the market shelves with an upgraded version of the same in the shape of Black Shark 2 Pro. The handset was released on July 30 in an event in China with some additional features and new algorithms.
Earlier, the Pro edition was announced a few days after the launch of Snapdragon 855+ processor. As the company stated by then, the Black Shark 2 Pro comes with the Snapdragon 855+ SoC, 4,000 mAh battery and UFS 3.0 storage.
Moreover, the phone gets a slightly refined design, including two additional RGB lights on the back and improved grip.
Black Shark 2 Pro: Specifications
As per the launch event, the Black Shark 2 Pro smartphone carries 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with high-resolution clarity. Further, it installs UD fingerprint sensor same as in the previous edition.

The company claims that the Pro version managed to reduce touch latency down to 34.7ms. In Black Shark 2, it is 43.5ms. Ultimately, this edition is most likely to deliver snappier gaming experience with visible lag at a minimum.
On the chipset, the Black Shark equips the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor. Alongside 12 GB of RAM, you have dual-storage space options – 128GB and 256GB. The storage drive now further supports the quicker UFS 3.0 level.
To advertise the potent of this combination, the handset pushes out 500,610 points on AnTuTu. To date, it is the highest level on this platform. Similarly, the phone adopts updated liquid cooling 3.0 for better thermal management.
The photography department contains dual shooters (48 MP+12 MP) on the back, whereas the 20 MP on the front. Along with, it installs an Android 9.0 as well as a 4,000 mAh battery.
