Honor will release its first product after reorganization. The Honor V40 smartphone will be available on January 12. The model has officially passed the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s network access review and telecommunications filing.
According to the network access certification information, the Honor V40 supports the Huawei HW-110600C0x charger with up to 66W fast charging. Besides, the Honor V40 will be equipped with MediaTek’s strongest Dimensity 1000+ chip. Speaking about screen parameters, it will sport a 120Hz digging curved screen with a 300Hz touch sampling rate. Furthermore, the smartphone supports 45W wireless fast charging and adopts the classic “watch four-eye dial” rear lens design. On top of that, it will run the Magic UI 4.0 + HMS system based on Android 10.

In terms of cameras, the V40 will be equipped with a 50MP rear camera. It is worth noting, that the Pro version will have three rear cameras, while the Pro + will supplement four rear cameras.
The Honor V40 series models are now available on JD.com and confirmed to include V40, V40 Pro, and V40 Pro+.
According to Honor CEO Zhao Ming, Honor’s goal is to become number one in the domestic smartphone market. Zhao Ming also mentioned that Honor plans to release the V40 series of smartphones in January 2021.
On November 26, 2019, Honor released V30 and V30 Pro, equipped with Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 990 SoC. These smartphones were the industry’s first full line of 5G dual-mode full Netcom smartphones. For reference, the initial prices at that time were:
6GB+128GB version of the Honor V30 – 3299 yuan ($510);
8GB+128GB version of the Honor V30 – 3699 yuan ($572);
8GB+128GB version of the Honor V30 PRO – 3899 yuan ($603);
8GB+256GB version of the Honor V30 PRO – 4199 yuan ($650).
