In fact, the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G has been uncovered way earlier. But no official launch date was specified for it. Anyway, in a few days, we will learn when this handset is going to hit the market.

As for its selling points, the Mate 20 X 5G is equipped with Huawei’s strongest 5G multimode terminal chip Baron 5000 and the Kirin 980 based on the 7nm manufacturing process. This chip has many excellent 5G communication technologies developed by Huawei. Moreover, it is the only one in the world that supports SA and NSA simultaneously. Thus, we are talking about the world’s first and only 5G dual-mode smartphone. The SoC is paired with an 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Apart from this, the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G version uses a 7.2-inch display with a resolution of 2244×1080. On the back, it carries a triple-camera of 40MP+ 20MP + 8MP sensors combination. The battery capacity is 4200mAh (the standard version is 5000mAh), and it supports 40W fast charge. Of course, this handset supports a stylus with its 4,096 levels of pressure. The front camera still has a resolution of 34MP like the 4G variant.
Li Xiaolong, vice president of Huawei’s smartphone product line, stressed that only Huawei can provide SA/NSA 5G dual-mode phones. This is also the only 5G smartphone that supports dual cards (one 5G and one 4G).
