The second-half flagship of the Chinese tech giant is going to be the Huawei Mate 30 / 30 Pro. As you know, this company has a certain strategy. It launches the P-line models in the first half of the year, and uncovers the Mate series handsets in the second half. So our inpatient expectation is logical. Honestly, we know almost everything about the upcoming monster. But it’s always nice to get leaks. Today is no exception.

@Slashleaks released the rendering of Huawei Mate 30 / 30 Pro. As usually happens, such information comes our way from the protective shell manufacturers. The renderings show that Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro use a rear circular camera module. This design is similar to the Lumia 1020 camera module design. Previously, we have heard the Mate 30 will sport a 40MP + 8MP dual-camera. They correspond to the super wide-angle lens and a ToF lens. At the same time, the Pro variant will come with a triple-camera. And none of those three lenses is a ToF sensor.

In addition, the Mate 30 Pro continues to adopt the notch screen design. There is a screen fingerprint technology as well as a Face ID module. According to the previous news, this handset should come with a waterfall screen with a resolution of 2600 x 1200. But ice_universe has said that Huawei’s Mate 30 Pro comes with a 1080P resolution, while 1200P actually refers to 1080P+ (60P x 2 bent on both sides).

It is worth noting that the Mate 30 retains the 3.5mm headphone jack, while the Mate 30 Pro canceled it.
