Huawei To Launch Pop-Up Camera Phone In India

India is a very attractive market for all manufacturers. In the past, many of them have not been interested in India much because of the low incomes of the population. But now everything has changed. And though the high-end products do not have high demand, the mid-range sector is very active. As for the smartphone market, OPPO, Realme, and VIVO have already managed to launch various models with a pop-up camera. So what about Huawei, which is doing its best to dethrone Xiaomi? Today, GSMArena reported this China-based smartphone maker is going to launch a similar model too. However, the source didn’t disclose what a certain model we are going to see soon.

Huawei pop-up camera

The Huawei phone with a pop-up camera, which is set to hit the Indian market later this month, should be priced around 20,000 Indian rupees ($290). Thus, this phone is going to focus on young customers. We guess no elderly will buy a smartphone with a trendy lifting camera.

And though no certain information is known yet, there are two variants we should pay attention to. Initially, we have been thinking it should belong to the Nova series. But later, we remembered none of the current Nova family products sport such a design. So there are only two variants – the Huawei P Smart Z and the Huawei Y9 Prime (2019). Both phones are equipped with a pop-up camera and cost around $290.

Anyways, we are tend to think it will be the Huawei P Smart Z. It comes with a Kirin 710 chip, a built-in 4000mAh battery, a 6.59-inch screen, a dual-camera with a 16MP + 2MP sensors combination, and a lifting front camera with a 16MP sensor.
