iPhone 11 Will Be Available With A USB-C Charging Port

There is news that the upcoming iPhone product line will feature a USB-C charging head. However, the iphone itself still provides a Lightning lightning port. The message comes from the tweet of ChargerLab (the charging head network), and the picture is a WeChat conversation.

The conversation mentioned that the iPhone 11 will come standard with a USB-C charging head, but the Phone body still uses the Lightning port. Which is said to come from an industry executive. If the new iPhone’s charging head and body use different ports, then Apple will provide a connector for the user, and ChargerLab said Apple will come with this adapter. If the news is true, it means that Apple will finally abandon the existing 5W charging head. And the new USB-C charging head will provide higher power and fast charging. The charging head is likely to be the same style as the USB-C charging head (18W) offered by the 2018 iPad Pro.
