On July 2, the iQOO Neo was officially released in Chengdu. This event has been scheduled a long time ago. Moreover, we had heard too much about this handset. So its launch can be taken as the official confirmation of what we knew before.
iQOO Neo Specs
The Neo uses a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with a screen fingerprint recognition support. On the back, the handset uses a glass material. At the same time, there is an AI button on the side, which provides easier and more convenient operation. Our protagonist comes in two color variants of electro-optic violet and carbon black. Among them, the electro-optic purple uses a special microstructure texture with blue and purple gradients. The carbon fiber black uses a texture of the top racing car. iQOO Neo Hardware
The iQOO Neo went back to the Snapdragon 845. The latter is coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. According to the official introduction, it is equipped with Monster compiler enhancement technology. It fully releases the hardware energy, known as performance burst.
Also, the Neo is equipped with a 4500mAh large battery and supports 22.5W flash charging. This allows the phone to charge 50% in 30 minutes. Due to iQOO super liquid cooling, no matter whether charging or playing games, it will not be hot.
More importantly, the iQOO Neo provides game space, e-sports mode, touch acceleration, 4D game shock 2.0, etc. All the aforementioned features give players an immersive gaming experience. At the same time, this smartphone has intimate functions such as virtual lighting effect, intelligent countdown, on-hook mode, and low Blu-ray game eye protection.
iQOO Neo Camera
On the back, the iQOO Neo sports a dual-core 12MP super wide-angle AI triple-camera (12MP main sensor + 8MP super wide-angle lens + 2MP sub-camera). It supports super night scene and super backlight. The front-facing dual-core 12MP camera supports natural beauty.
It is worth mentioning that the iQOO Neo comes with intelligent AI voice assistant Jovi. There are also new full-screen gestures, DC-like dimming to alleviate visual fatigue and dark mode for top 300 applications.
In terms of price, the 6GB+64GB is available at 1798 yuan ($262); the 6GB+128GB is 1998 yuan ($291); the 8GB+64GB is 2098 yuan ($305); and the 8GB+128GB is 2298 yuan ($334). The pre-sale is already started. The phone will appear on shelved on July 8.
