Meizu 16s Pro Released, Coming With Snapdragon 855 Plus

This afternoon, Meizu held a new product launch conferment and announced the Meizu 16s Pro flagship smartphone. With this move, the company also released the Flyme 8 new system.

The Meizu 16s Pro features a classic extreme-edge full-screen design with a body thickness of 7.65mm and a weight of 166g. It is equilaterally symmetrical and has an oversized R angle. This phone also brings a new color design, with a dreamy unicorn, black frog mirror, white story, and Twilight forest.

On the screen, the Meizu 16s Pro uses Samsung’s custom 6.2-inch Super AMOLED screen with 103% NTSC color gamut, 96.1% DCI-P3 color gamut and 1.5 color shift index, DC dimming, 33% hardware filtering of the blue light, and a touch sampling rate of 160 Hz.

As for the configuration, the 16s Pro is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, UFS 3.0 storage, using the second generation of dual super linear speakers, mEngine 3.0 touch engine, and supports OneMind 3.5 intelligent tuning.

The aforementioned features already prove its top-notch category. But this is also a great handset in terms of photography.

On the front, the phone carries Samsung’s 3T2 20MP camera. But on the back, it comes with a Sony AI three-camera, consisting of Sony 48MP IMX586 + Sony 20MP IMX350 + Sony 16MP IMX481 combination. In terms of price, the 6GB + 128GB sells for 2699 yuan ($377), the 8GB + 128GB sells for 2999 yuan ($418), and the 8GB + 256GB sells for 3299 yuan ($460). The appointment has been officially opened at 17:00 today, and it will be launched at 10:00 on August 31.
