Today, the Nubia Z20 launch conference was held in Beijing. As expected, the company officially released its annual flagship.
In terms of design, the Nubia Z20 adopts front and rear symmetrical hyperboloid design and curved metal middle frame. The manufacturer has put two of the same buttons on both sides that not only serve as a power button but also as integrate a fingerprint recognition module. The phone is available in three colors of diamond black, red, and star blue.

Before its launch, we knew the Nubia Z20 will sport a dual-screen design. Now we know it uses a hyperbolic flexible screen from BOE. The front side uses a 6.42-inch full HD AMOLED flexible screen with a resolution of 2340×1080 and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. At the same time, on the back, there is a 5.1-inch AMOLED flexible screen.

Not surprisingly, the Nubia Z20 is packed with the newly announced Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. The latter is paired with a 512GB storage and a 4000mAh battery, which supports 27W fast charge, PPS protocol, and compatible with PD and QC4.0 fast charge. Plus, the phone supports dual-frequency GPS, dual VOLTE, dual-frequency WiFi and more.

Previously, we the manufacturer said this handset can capture the Magellanic cloud. Now we know it’s quite possible as the handset comes with a 48MP ultra-clear + 16MP super wide-angle + 8MP telephoto lenses combination. The camera module is accompanied by a dual-color temperature flash and large size soft light. The main camera uses the Sony IMX 586 sensor, measuring 1/2 inches and having an f/1.7 aperture. Also, it supports OIS. In addition, the Nubia Z20 supports 8K video and 2.5cm macro shooting.

In terms of pricing, the Nubia Z20 6GB+128GB diamond black costs 3499 yuan, the 8GB+128GB diamond black, koi red, and starry blue cost 3699 yuan. The 8GB+512GB diamond black and koi red are available at 4199 yuan. They will go on sale on August 8.
