As we previously announced, the annual flagship of the OnePlus 9 series will be officially available this month. Usually, when a new smartphone is about to be released, Liu Zuohu discloses the product plan in a public document. The co-founder of OnePlus stated that OnePlus has recently done an internal review and will launch a brand-new strategic approach. So, for the first time this year, it will adopt the “flagship battle group” product plan to supply market demand.
When you see this “flagship battle group”, the first thing that comes in your mind is that OnePlus will adopt machine-sea tactics. However, Liu Zuohu will not use these tactics in OnePlus. The OnePlus 8, 8Pro, and 8T will continue to maintain full attacks to online and offline channels.
Liu Zuohu also revealed that he had used OnePlus 8T to release the true flagship for at least three years. At the same time, Liu Zuohu added that OnePlus will launch many preferential benefits for older models soon.
What’s more attractive is that OnePlus officially announced price cuts for older models this morning. Thus, the OnePlus 8 Pro offers a maximum discount of 1,000 Yuan ($155). Hence, the price of the model starts at only 4599 Yuan ($710) and supports 24 interest-free installments.
Speaking about the new OnePlus 9, the series will launch the OnePlus 9/9 Pro models, which will support all-around upgrades compared to the previous generation. Furthermore, the core is upgraded to the latest generation of Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip.
It is worth mentioning that the OnePlus 9/9 Pro comes with a unique dual main camera solution. The main cameras are respectively 50MP + 48MP flagship sensor, which will bring the biggest upgrade in history to OnePlus’ imaging system.
