Pocophone To Get Dark Mode Via MIUI 11 Update

The dark mode has become a highly demanded feature on any smartphone. No matter what a category smartphone you use, it should support this option. Even if it doesn’t come with it out of the box, users want it to come via the updates. This statement is also true for Xiaomi phones. Initially, this mode was tested on the Redmi Note 7 Pro because it has a bigger group of users. The test results have not been published yet. But once everything is normal, apart from the Redmi Note 7 Pro, the Pocophone smartphone will get it as well. Today, this was confirmed by a Xiaomi executive, Alvin Tse, who said the dark mode will come to the Poco users through MIUI 11.

This handset is considered to be one of the cheapest flagships powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8xx series chip. The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and supports a water-based cooling system. It is equipped with an FHD+ 6.18-inch IPS display with an aspect ratio of 18.7:9 and a screen cover of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Its battery capacity is 4000mAh.

As for the camera, the Pocophone F1 sports a 20-megapixel front camera and a rear 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual-camera and a sub camera for depth of field testing.

Its other key features include a dual SIM slot, 4G LTE support, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, GLONASS A-GPS and more. Pocophone F1 is available in red, blue and black, and it is made of plastic.

At the moment, the Pocophone comes with a system based on Android 8.1. The Xiaomi executive said that the device will be upgraded to the Android P system in the fourth quarter of this year.
