On the 17th of December, Redmi officially presented the Redmi 9 Power smartphone in India. Although initially this event has been scheduled to take place a couple of days earlier. The new smartphone is the rebranded Redmi Note 9 4G launched in China last month, though there are slight changes.
The Redmi 9 Power is available in four colors: blue, red, black, and green. The device suplements a 6000mAh battery, eight-core Snapdragon 662 processors, stereo speakers, etc. Furthermore, the smartphone sports up to 128GB of storage. On the other hand, it is also Redmi’s first smartphone which has a battery capacity of 6000mAh. The new smartphone also supports 18W fast charging and 2.5W reverse wired charging. In terms of price, the 4GB+64GB version costs 980 Yuan ($150), while the 4GB+128GB variant is 1070 Yuan ($164).
The other important parameters of the Redmi 9 Power are the FHD+ display, and a fingerprint sensor. Besides, it supports artificial intelligence face unlocking, a dedicated microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also features a 48MP main camera. The Redmi 9 Power could also include an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
