Redmi K20 To Support 27W Charging and More

Recently, a new Xiaomi smartphone passed through 3C certification. The certification information shows that the machine will have three models, namely M1903F11A, M1903F11C, and M1903F11T. Also, they support 18W and 27W fast charge. If nothing accidental happens, we are talking about the upcoming Redmi flagship, which should be called the Redmi K20.

Apart from this information, we also know the forthcoming Redmi K20 will be packed with a Snapdragon 855 mobile platform. It should be packed with a 4000mAh battery, support NFC, and retain a headphone jack. But what’s more surprising, it will also adopt a pop-up camera design in order to ensure a genuine full-screen design. The front camera lifting is said can be implemented up to 300,000 times. On the back, the Redmi K20 will sport the Sony’s much-popular 48MP sensors, while the front camera will have a 20MP resolution and will support AI and 960 frames of super slow motion video recording.

All these features hint at the high-end status of the Redmi K20 series. But we also would like to talk about the screen fingerprint solution of this handset. Today, the manufacturer has officially announced its first flagship from this brand will sport the seventh generation screen fingerprint recognition technology, which is way more accurate and faster than the current generation.

As the company claims, this scanner comes with a 100% higher photo-sensitive area and 30% more accuracy than its predecessor. In addition, the scanning area increased by 15% and it comes with a 7.2μm ultra-large pixels coupled with a 3P lens.

The unlocking speed of the Redmi K20 series fingerprint sensor will increase by 10% relative to the previous generation because it comes with DSP acceleration technology. Even under high light/low temperature, the success rate increases by 30%.
