While many Chinese smartphone brands have been trying to increase their popularity by sponsoring sports events, Xiaomi has decided to go the other way. Recently, we learned that the Xiaomi Mi 10 has passed the Netflix certification. And though it adds some value to the phone, in fact, this news made the phone even more popular. Apart from this, we learned the Redmi K30 Pro will ‘participate’ in the ‘Fast and Furious 9’. As for today, we saw another poster from ‘this series’. This handset is the official sponsor of the ‘Fantasy Westward Journey’ [3D Edition].
What is more interesting to us (non-Chinese users), from the poster, we can learn about the phone’s appearance. In fact, what we see is another confirmation of what we knew. This not only refers to the pop-up camera design but also to the narrow borders.
As of now, the official has revealed many configurations of the Redmi K30 Pro, including the Snapdragon 865 + LPDDR5 + UFS 3.1 solution, a VC heat sink with a 3435mm² area, and a linear motor. It is reported that the Redmi K30 Pro has two versions, the standard version and the zoom version, which will be officially released on March 24.
The Redmi K30 Pro will be released this month. It will use a pop-up full-screen design. Thus, it is going to be Xiaomi’s first pop-up Snapdragon 865 flagship. As you guess, under the hood, it will carry the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 flagship platform. Apart from this, it is going to sport an LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.0 flash storage. The rear main camera may have a 64MP resolution. And we have heard that this handset will support a 33W flash charge.
Redmi Product Director Wang Teng also hinted that the price of the Redmi K30 Pro will be more than 3,000 yuan ($429). Those who want to buy a flagship smartphone priced at 3,000 yuan, should keep waiting a little more.
