Redmi K40 May Not Come With A Standard Charger

Lu Weibing, vice president of Xiaomi Group, president of China, and general manager of Redmi brand, spoiled the Redmi K40 packaging box on Weibo today. There are two styles, one thick and one thin.

Lu Weibing said, “Thick or thin? This is a difficult choice. Ask everyone for your opinion…”. We know that the Xiaomi Mi 11 has launched two packaging versions. One comes with a charger (gallium nitride charger), the other does not, and the price of the two is the same. So, seems like the Redmi K40 may also adopt this solution. Of course, it is not ruled out that Redmi will choose one of the packaging box solutions.

What to expect for the next version?

It is also worth mentioning that Lu Weibing posted on Weibo last night to praise the Redmi Note 9 for being very popular. And at the same time, he asked users what to expect for the next version of the ‘King Kong’, that is, Redmi Note 10, suggesting that the phone is not far from being released. In this regard, some Mi fans left a message in the comment area saying “No charger will be sent”. To that comment, Lu Weibing responded, “received”. It seems to indicate that Redmi Note 10 will no longer include a charger.

In terms of battery, it is larger than 4000mAh. And the price starts at 2,999 yuan ($449.85). According to the news, the Redmi K40 screen may also use an OLED display made of Samsung E4 luminescent materials. The OLED display, as we know,  supports a high refresh rate of 120Hz.
