Redmi Note 10 Series Will Use Super AMOLED Screens

Today, Manu Kumar Jain, head of Xiaomi’s Indian business, announced that the Redmi Note 10 series will use Super AMOLED screens. It is the first time that the Redmi Note series uses this screen. Compared with LCD screens, Super AMOLED does not require a backlight. OLED will emit light, so Super AMOLED will not have the same light leakage phenomenon as LCD.

About AMOLED Screen

The AMOLED  is a type of OLED display device technology. OLED describes a specific type of thin-film-display technology in which organic compounds form the electroluminescent material. Active matrix refers to the technology behind the addressing of pixels. Since 2007, AMOLED technology has been used in Smartphones, media players, TVs and digital cameras. It has continued to make progress toward low-power, low-cost, high resolution and large size applications. In addition, Super AMOLED is basically in a non-working state when displaying black . So the screen will appear darker and the power consumption will be lower. Compared with LCD, OLED display panels are thinner, which can save more space when designing finished products.

In addition to the AMOLED screen, the Redmi Note 10 series also uses a 100-megapixel camera. That is the third-generation 100MP machine, with a 1/1.52 inch outsole and 9 in 1 super large fusion pixel technology. This is the first time that the Redmi Note series has used a 100-megapixel sensor in the Indian market. According to the disclosed information, the main camera sensor of the Redmi Note 10 series is Samsung HM2, the sensor size is 1/1.52 inches, the unit pixel area is 0.7μm, and it supports 9 pixels in one, which is equivalent to 2.1μm. The imaging effect is worth looking forward to.The machine will be officially released on March 4.
