Today, Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi Global Vice President and Xiaomi India’s Chief Business Officer, shared some information concerning the Redmi Note 9.
Manu Kumar Jain said that the Redmi Note 9 has the fastest charging speed in the history of the Redmi Note series. However, he didn’t disclose the specific power.

The Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro support 18W fast charging. So it seems that the charging power of the Redmi Note 9 series needs to start at least 20W.
Previously, some users found out that Redmi is testing 22.5W flash charge. It is speculated that Redmi Note 9 series may support 22.5W fast charge.
The battery capacity of this machine is unknown. Considering that the Redmi Note series has been equipped with large-capacity batteries, it is assumed that the Redmi Note 9 series battery will be no less than 4000mAh.
In terms of core configuration, the Redmi Note 9 Pro will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G mobile platform. The latter will be accompanied by the 6GB memory and the 128GB native storage. There are three colors of blue, black and white. Also, we know, on the back, it will host a Yuba-style quad-camera.
We are waiting for this device to come on March 12.
It is worth noting that this month Redmi will also launch the flagship product K30 Pro. This model will sport the Snapdragon 865 flagship platform, which is also worth looking forward to. But these two phones are not comparable. The Redmi K30 Pro is a true flagship, while the Redmi Note 9 series will be positioning as a pseudo-flagship smartphone.
