VIVO S1 Announced For Indian Market: Differs A Lot

India is a very attractive market for many manufacturers. We know it’s the second largest market in the world after China. But this market has another specification as well – customers from this country mainly prefer low-cost or mid-range products because of relatively low incomes. Of course, this will change in time, but at the moment we have what we have. We talk about this because the vast majority of products released in India are cost-effective. Therefore, most of them are mid-range devices. The same is true for the VIVO S1. It was announced for the Indian market today. The official price tag has not been announced yet, but we expect it to cost around 20,000 INR ($292). It is expected to be listed in India in August.

VIVO S1 Features

Surprisingly, the VIVO S1 launched for India is completely different from the original variant, initially released in China. Say, the Indian version of the VIVO S1 is equipped with a 6.38-inch FullHD Super AMOLED water droplet display and a built-in screen fingerprint scanner. The front-facing camera placed inside the drop area has a 32MP resolution. On the opposite side, the phone carries a triple-camera with a 16MP main lens + 8MP + 2MP depth sensor combination.
