VIVO Y90 Entry-Level Smartphone Launched and Sold Out In India

As VIVO is one of the leading smartphone makers in the world, it’s quite reasonable to see it actively works not only on the high-end products but low-end and mid-range devices as well. Otherwise, it couldn’t capture many markets, such as India. Today, it became known the company is going to release a new entry-level smartphone in India. The VIVO Y90 will be packed with an Helio A22 chip.

As said, the VIVO Y90 will be equipped with a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor. As the name and the processor, type suggest, it will be an entry-level handset. Thus, we shouldn’t wait for more from its hardware. Our protagonist will sport a 2GB of memory and a 16GB of storage space. But you can expand the latter via the microSD card slot. Apart from the 2GB + 16GB variant, the company also offers the 2GB + 32GB variant. The battery capacity is 4030mAh. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.

On the front, the VIVO Y90 uses a 6.22-inch drop screen with a front camera of 5-megapixel resolution and supports face unlocking. Surprisingly, on the back, the company put only a single camera sensor of 8MP resolution. Because the phone support face unlock, there is no fingerprint sensor.

The phone will be available in gold and black. Finally, the size of the phone is 155.11mm x 75.09mm x 8.28mm.

As 91mobiles claims, the price of the VIVO Y90 (2GB+16GB) in the Indian market is INR 6,990 (about $101). Unfortunately, it’s reported the phone has been sold out at the moment.
