The Redmi K40 series models have been put on sale. Moreover, we have learned that Xiaomi Group will introduce these two models to overseas markets. But it turns out they will be unveiled under a new identity. Today, XDA found two Mi 11 series phones in the MIUI code, named the Xiaomi Mi 11X and the Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro.
The report pointed out that the code name of the Xiaomi Mi 11X is aliothin and the model is M2012K11AI. We know that Redmi K40 is codenamed aliothin, which means that Redmi K40 will be unveiled in India (and other markets) as the Xiaomi Mi 11X.

Not only that, but the Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro device appears in the code as well. As you understand, it corresponds to the Redmi K40 Pro. The two new flagships are on sale in India as members of the Xiaomi Mi 11 series.
Among them, the Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 flagship processor. The chip is based on a 5nm process. Moreover, the Cortex X1 super core is used for the first time, and the Cortex A78 core is used at the same time. The AnTuTu score exceeded 700,000 points.
It is worth noting that the Redmi K40 series will also go on sale in Europe, and may debut as the POCO F3.
So it turns out that Redmi has designed a super flagship smartphone and two other brands – POCO and Xiaomi – use it in other markets. Honestly, this is not the first time we see such a practice. But in the past, Redmi and POCO were using Xiaomi’s models, and not the contrary.
