A couple of day ago, at the Xiaomi spring conference, Xiaomi officially released the MIX Fold phone. The price of the 12+256GB standard version is 9,999 Yuan ($1,525) while the 12+512GB standard version costs 10,999 Yuan ($1,678). The 16+512GB ceramic special edition is priced at 12,999 Yuan ($1983).
The Mi MIX Fold adopts an internal folding design. The internal display uses 8.01-inch true full 2K screen with 2480 x 1860 resolutions. Besides, it supports a 4:3 screen ratio, 387 PPI, HDR10+, 600nit brightness, etc.
The phone also sports a 6.52-inch AMOLED external screen with a 2520×840 resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the external screen uses a side fingerprint solution, a size of which is 173×133×7.62mm. The weight of the phone is about 317 grams (the ceramic version weighs 332g).
On top of all that, the machine is equipped with large-amplitude stereo four speakers and Harman Kardon joint adjustment. The Mi MIX Fold has a specially adapted version of MIUI. It will provide three usage modes, including PC mode.
Speaking about images, the device sports a 108MP main camera (Samsung HM2). The main camera supplemented a 13MP 123° ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8MP 80mm-equivalent telephoto macro lens.
Moreover, the machine supports a 5020mAh battery with a 67W fast charge. So, the phone is fully charged in 37 minutes. In terms of processor, the device sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip, equipped with LPDDR5 + UFS 3.1 In addition, the machine also uses Xiaomi’s first professional imaging chip-Surge C1.
