On October 16, Huami Technology’s official Weibo channel announced a new smartwatch product — Amazfit Pop. It also released a promo video to briefly introduce the product. The new product will go on sale during Double Eleven.
The design is very similar to what we have already seen on the Amazfit Bip, only providing more square edges. So, the Amazfit Pop smartwatch only weighs about 31 grams. It has a color display with an HD resolution. The 1,43-inch screen has a number of different dial options. According to the official video, the Amazfit Pop will support the blood oxygen saturation monitoring function. In addition, the machine also supports sleep monitoring, breathing tracking, PAI health assessment and other routine functions and data recording of more than 60 exercise modes.

The Amazfit Pop also supports the functions already available in previous generation products. It includes AliPay offline payment and NFC bus access control. In other aspects, the company said that the watch supports 50-meter water resistance. It also has a 9-day battery life.
Unfortunately, we still don’t know how much it costs and when it will go on sale. But Huang Wang, the founder of Huami Technology, said that the Amazfit Pop will not be inferior to the flagship watch in terms of function. Moreover, it is more colorful and lighter. Presumably, the machine should be a light flagship product positioning at the young customers.
