Mi Band 6 Functions Leaked: Blood Oxygen Measurement and Xiaoai App

According to the LOGGER media, some information of the Mi Band 6 was leaked in Zepp, which is a famous smart band app. In the firmware code of this application, the media noticed “MI Smart Band 6” words and the CMIIT ID registration number. Thus, it has passed the China Radio Certification. Moreover, the code shows that the bracelet will also inherit the previous generation of products to support the NFC function.

The new Mi Band 6 will support Amazon’s Alexa intelligent voice assistant and SpO 2 blood oxygen saturation measurement. Besides, there are a series of dial patterns in the firmware file. You can see that the design of the band is similar to the Mi Band 5. In addition, the screen size has not changed much.

It is worth mentioning that the new version of the band will support up to 308 notification icons for the display of chat information. What’s even more interesting is that there are many smartphone App icons. So, it can display notifications of JD, Tmall, Meituan QQ, Douyin, etc.

The Mi Band 5 currently has multiple built-in applications such as music, heart rate monitoring, sports, wallet, etc. The icons of the new version of the Mi Band 6 show the icons of Alipay and Xiao Ai. Hence, the sixth generation band will likely have independent related applications to realize the one-step expansion of functions.

Currently, the standard version of the Mi Band 5 is 169 Yuan ($26), while the NFC version costs 209 Yuan ($32).
