Xiaomi today released the MiTu Children’s Learning Watch 4X, which supports 4G connectivity. It also comes with a high-definition dual-camera and an eightfold AI security positioning. The reservation has been opened. The watch will go on sale on August 16. The price is 549 yuan ($79).
The MiTu Children’s Learning Watch 4X uses a 1.52-inch retina screen. On the front, it’s covered by a Corning Gorilla’s 3rd generation glass touch screen + AF anti-fingerprint oleophobic coating. The built-in Xiao Ai voice assistant can not only check new words and vocabulary but also check the weather, play music, and encyclopedia questions and answers in one sentence.

This new kids watch supports multi-band 4G network. It also supports some useful functions such as calls in more than 200 countries or regions around the world, and can be used abroad.
As said above, the watch sports dual high-definition cameras of 5MP for side view and 2MP for front view. You can switch them at will.
In other aspects, the MiTu Children’s Learning Watch 4X supports AI camera recognition, eight-fold safety AI positioning, 7-day standby battery life, 20-meter swimming-level waterproof, scan code payment, voice chat, etc.
MiTu children’s phone watch 4C Key Features
Prior to this, the company released the MiTu children’s phone watch 4C. The Mitu Children’s Phone Watch 4C is equipped with a 1.3-inch color display with a 240×240 resolution. But the latter is covered with an AF anti-fingerprint oleophobic coating. So no fingerprints will stay on the screen.
It also comes with a 2MP enhanced high-definition camera. The latter has an 84.8° wide-angle lens and an F/2.4 large aperture to provide a wider field of view.
Under the hood, we can find a built-in 780mAh large-capacity battery, which has an endurance of up to 4 days, but the standby time is 7 days. Interestingly, this watch supports 8 repositioning: GPS + Beidou + base station + Wi-Fi + gravity sensor + AGPS + photo scene assisted positioning + indoor positioning. It is priced at 399 yuan ($56).
