Snapdragon 865 High Running Points Are Announced By Antutu

The running performance of Qualcomm’s new flagship platform is just introduced. It was announced during the Snapdragon Technology Summit in Hawaii. As a result, it became obvious that the reference design performance is quite eye-catching. The Snapdragon 865 flagship platform is far away from the previous generations. These are the Snapdragon 855 and the Snapdragon 855 Plus. The new platform is even better than competing products such as Kirin 990 and Teana 1000.

In the most commonly used AnTuTu project, it was actually measured 544,000 points. Most of the first batch of results were in the range of 540-555K. According to AnTuTu monitoring, the highest score is currently 568919 points.

Compared with the Snapdragon 855 Plus (the representative model is Vivo NEX 3 5G), the overall Snapdragon 865 has increased by about 15%. Particularly, the CPU sub-item has increased by 28%. GPU sub-item has increased by 19%. Compared with Huawei Kirin 990 5G (the representative model is Mate 30 Pro 5G) and MediaTek Teana 1000, the flagship platform is about 11% and 18% higher, respectively. The advantages are very obvious. Among them, the GPU sub-item is up to as much as Kirin 990 5G. It means that it measures 38%.

It is worth mentioning that the flagship platform and Teana 1000 CPU both use ARM A77 architecture. However, Qualcomm uses the magic modification architecture Kryo 495. At the same time, the frequency is higher (2.84GHz VS. 2.60GHz). So, it has obtained a 13% advantage compared to Teana 1000.

The Snapdragon 865 reference design only has 64GB storage. So, the scores of the two sub-items of memory are not meaningful.

It should be noted that the current Snapdragon 865 results are from the Qualcomm reference design platform. That is equivalent to an engineering prototype. There will obviously be a room for optimization in terms of firmware and drivers in the future. Finally, brand production machines will have more ideal heat dissipation. Conditions for the future scores of Snapdragon 865 will be higher.
