Xiaomi Mi 10 Series Passed Netflix Certification, Supports HD / HDR Playback

According to Zhang Guoquan, director of Xiaomi’s smartphone system software department, the Xiaomi Mi 10 series has been certified by Netflix and supports HD video and HDR10.

Zhang Guoquan said that in order to implement this function, it is necessary to take a smartphone to Netflix for the test. Considering that there is a little trouble to access Netflix in China, it’s great news especially for those who live in China.

Netflix HD compatible devices can be used to play high-definition Netflix videos. According to Netflix regulations, standard-definition videos can be watched for $8.99 monthly package, $12.99 per month for 1080P packages, and $15.99 for Ultra HD 4K and HDR video packages.
